(a) The girls were excited as they waited for the results.Droplets of sweat rolled down their cheeks. The atmosphere was tense. The girls kept walking back and forth in the classroom waiting for the science teacher to bring in the result. Every girl has butterflies flying in their stomach and can’t wait for it to fly out. When the teacher stepped in the class, every girl moved back to their seats and only silence could be heard. The noise that could be heard is only the sound of each girl’s hearts pounding. (e) She sat heart-broken on her bed.
She sat on her bed sobbing away. Her eyes swelled from continuous crying. Her blanket covered her body from head to toe. Her room was filled with torn pieces of love letters given by her boyfriend. The crumple tissue papers make the room messier. She can’t stop thinking of the words in the letters, “always be there for you.”
