Rewrite Cinderella from the POV of one of the step-sisters. Irritated and devastated.
I couldn’t imagine that Cinderella recreate all that awful lies about me, my sister and my mother.
To be honest, we as a family did not treat her cruelly. We treat her fair just like how we treat her after our father passed away. We did give her a nice room, clothing, food and leisure. We did not ask her to clean the house, wear uncomfortable clothes or sleeping in the attic. That is all lies.
Cinderella demanded to sleep in the attic as she said her had wonderful memories there with our father. My mother will a heavy-heart has to go on with what she wants as she didn’t want her to think that she is being bias. Cinderella continued with her demands; to wear her old dress, clean the house like she did before with our father and not to be involved in family gatherings.
Let’s go on to the ball. We did inform Cinderella about the invitation and we ask her to come along.
But as usual she will reject our invite to bring her along to the ball. During the ball, I was speechless to see Cinderella in my new dress. I was really disappointed. My mother was shocked to see Cinderella in her new shoes. My mother just bought that shoe when she saw Cinderella wearing it. Although we were disappointed, we still feel annoyed and angry about the lies Cinderella made. We didn’t think that she would lie to us as we treated just like our own sister and daughter.
During the testing out of the glass slippers, I couldn’t believe my eyes that Cinderella changed to glass slippers to make it into her size. Cinderella purposely buy the same glass slipper but in her own size. When the prince approached our house and wanted to see Cinderella as she was the only girl left, she suddenly appeared. Devastated, we were. The prince passed the glass slippers to Cinderella. Cinderella then rushed into the house to the kitchen. I desperately need to use the toilet so I rushed to the kitchen toilet as it was nearer to the door. My steps suddenly stop to see Cinderella changing the glass slippers. I was in the greatest shock of my life to see Cinderella who I thought the nicest person in the house to be so evil and cunning. But I just kept it as my secret as I wouldn’t want my sister to face the consequences. Before our father left us, Cinderella has always blamed us for the things she had done wrong. She always make father believe her and not trust us. Although we are annoyed with her behavior, we believe she can change one day.
There you have it, all the truth from me. But I know, you will not trust this as you believe the stories that Cinderella has been telling you about. I don’t blame you guys. I know that she is the angel in everyone’s eyes. I just hope that the truth can be reveal soon!
