Confession of a Shark.SNAP! The sound created by my sharp teeth. There goes one of their family members. Looking at all the small fishes swimming away from me makes me feel big and powerful. Sharks are always being specified as the most dangerous sea animals. But they are wrong! Sharks like me are not dangerous we are just hungry and that is what we do to live.
What do humans know? They only know how to make stupid movies about us, sharks, being the bad ones. Humans create; Jaws, Shark Tale and many more describing us, sharks as killers. This is not fair as this is a biased account from everyone. They just believe what they are told but have they ever listened from the sharks view. No! They don’t. So how could they just assume that all sharks are bad?
As a shark, I believe that some of us are bad but there are also good and nice sharks. We do not just kill other fishes for our food but we also make friends with them. But trust me which animal, insect or humans will trust this phrase? Of course no one! As sharks, we are train be to be independent. When I was young, my parents will leave to find for my own food. We are thought to be fierce when we are young so that no other sea animals could bully us. Does this make sense to you all? Maybe all of you will say that I am just creating this fake lies, but I’m telling the truth. We from young are thought to face our own problems so this is what we do. Don’t get me wrong, we try to negotiate with them. We don’t just eat them unless we are hungry.
Every time I swim passed the fishes, they will always run away. But I don’t want to eat them, I just want to play but these fishes just don’t understand. They just assume. Shark like me are lonely sea animals who want to make friends with other animals but we are not accepted in the sea community. We, sharks, are clueless on what we can do to change everyone perception about us. I believe everyone should be given the second chance so why not give a second chance to a shark? If only people could change their perception, we do not have to react violently to all human or other animals.
